“Late night and life-saving moments”
Fab Four arrived safely after our team performed an emergency C section on Pettina, an Olde English Bulldogge from Sea Breeze Kennel. Thank you, Sir we are incredibly grateful to be one of the clinic you trusted since day one.
Bulldogs often require cesarean sections due to their unique physical traits. English Bulldogs are brachycephalic, meaning their pups often have heads and shoulders too large for natural birth. This can lead to stalled labor or dystocia.
Because dogs heavily rely on their natural rhythms for delivery, labor often kicks into high gear during the late night or early morning hours when the environment is quiet.
