Sometimes you accidentally invent technology that looks VERY cool… but doesn’t actually work. 😂🔧

Kidding aside, this enclosure gave us one of those classic “looks good on paper” moments. We weren’t able to properly test-fit the doors and locks in the shop before installation, so when we got to the client’s home, we encountered a few fitting issues. 😅

The good news? Nothing major—and definitely nothing that can’t be solved. We can simply switch to a different lock mechanism that works better with the actual door configuration.

And honestly, these little hiccups are part of building custom reptile enclosures. Every project is different, and sometimes you only discover a small compatibility issue once everything is in its final environment.

What matters is how you solve it. Proper assessment, a little problem-solving, and choosing the right hardware can turn a “uh-oh” moment into a simple fix. 🦎🛠️

Lesson learned: Always test-fit. Always double-check. And never be afraid to redesign when the solution calls for it.

Because at ReptileSky, we don’t just build enclosures—we build, test, troubleshoot, and improve. 💪
