Oreo has come a long way from being a sick street cat. He has finished his FIP treatment and is ready for a furever home.

Congratulations to this proud 1st-time Momma for safely delivering 4 healthy puppies ! 🐶

Her furparent noticed she was already showing signs of labor since yesterday. This morning she was rushed to our clinic because she's about to give birth. Since it's Millie's first time giving birth, she was struggling a little to get her 1st puppy out. Good thing, with the assistance of our veterinarian she was able to help Millie pass her 1st puppy out and the other 3 just came out smoothly.

🩺𝑪𝑨𝑺𝑬 𝑺𝑷𝑶𝑻𝑳𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻

😺 Unnie, a 5 year old scottish straight cat was diagnosed with a stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in the early months of this year. Since then, she has been managed with a specialized diet, multiple renal supplementations and regular follow up check up at least once a month to closely monitor and keep track of her kidney panels. Unfortunately she was brought one day in the clinic due to a bloody-pus like vaginal discharge. She was also observed to be lethargic and her appetite started to decline.

After conducting a series of laboratory test, pyometra (uterine infection) was confirmed but to complicate the case, her kidney panels were at a spike. Her blood chemistry presented that she was in a uremic crisis.

Surgery was recommended for the case of her pyometra, but due to her CKD a more careful anesthesia planning and critical care is needed to make the surgery a success.

With our veterinarian's expertise and versatile veterinary team, Unnie was able to go through a successful surgery. She was nursed until her kidney panels are at a stable value before clearing for discharge.

Unnie returns for a follow up check with her sugical wound healing well and kidney panels being maintained at a stable value.

Pyometra and Chronic Kidney Disease are very serious medical conditions and may lead to an immediate emergency situation. Early diagnosis is very improtant! Once you notice any abnormal signs or behaviors from you furries, do not wait any longer, bring them to your nearest veterinary service provider.

Someone has apparently created a Viber account using our Veterinarian, Dr. Athaliah Jan Lagon's name and photo and recently attempted to scam a member of our clinic staff.

❗️Their Method of Operation:
- They will call and chat the clinic's viber number claiming to be another veterinarian and will try to endorse or refer a patient and client.
- Using another viber number, they will now claim to be our veterinarian using the same name and profile picture asking if some veterinarian has called for a referral.
- They will ask for money or downpayment thru gcash or bank transfer.

❗️Reminder
Please be advised that Dr. Athaliah Jan Lagon or Brave Hearts Veterinary Clinic will never request loans, cash transfers, or financial assistance via Viber, Messenger, SMS, or social media.

If you receive any message claiming to be our Veterinarian and asking for money, please do not send anything; verify with our clinic first through our contact numbers 0915 469 3505.

Please help by reporting and blocking the account.
