🚨With increasing reports of leptospirosis in humans, a concerning rise in cases has also been observed in pets.

Dogs may be exposed to Leptospira bacteria through contact with rats, floodwater, or contaminated environment especially following heavy rains and flooding.

If your pet has had recent exposure, a veterinary consultation is recommended. Your veterinarian can assess the risk and determine whether preventive measures, monitoring, or further diagnostic evaluation may be appropriate.

⚠️ Do not wait for clinical signs to appear. Early veterinary assessment may help reduce the risk of severe disease and complications.

Protect your pets. Stay vigilant. Seek veterinary advice after possible exposure. 🐾

We’re here to help keep your pets safe. 🐾

Rainy season means more toads for curious pets to bite 🐸🐶

Toad poisoning is a common emergency during the rainy months, so it’s important to keep a close eye on your pets, especially when they’re outdoors.

It is important to recognize the early signs of toad poisoning:
- excessive drooling
- pawing at the mouth
- vomiting
- bright red gums
- tremors or seizures

If you suspect your pet has come into contact with a toad: RINSE their MOUTH gently with running water and go to the nearest veterinary clinic immediately.

Early treatment can be lifesaving.

We are open 24/7 to serve you and your furbabies. 🐾

Acupuncture is an integrative therapy that involves inserting fine needles into specific points (acupoints) on the body. It may help relieve pain, improve blood circulation and mobility, and stimulate the nervous system.

Some of the most common forms of acupuncture therapy include:
• Traditional / manual acupuncture
• Electroacupuncture
• Aquapuncture
• Moxibustion

Not sure which type of acupuncture is best for your pet? We’d be happy to help! Send us a message to book a consultation with our certified veterinary acupuncturists and find the most appropriate treatment plan for your furbabies. 🫶🏻🐾
