🐾 How often should pets have a f***l exam?
The answer depends on age and individual risk. According to the CAPC General Guidelines for Dogs and Cats:
🐶😽Puppies and kittens: At least four f***l examinations during the first year of life
🐾 Healthy adult pets: At least two f***l examinations per year
These are minimum recommendations—not a one-size-fits-all schedule. A pet’s health status, outdoor access, travel, and contact with other animals may call for more frequent testing.
