Three months ago, Leon came to us in really bad shape 🥺

He couldn’t walk. He couldn’t even stand on his own and needed oxygen support. He was diagnosed with FIP Neuro and started treatment.

Fast forward to today… look at him! 🥹🩷
No signs of pain, no signs of the problems he had before—just a happy boy enjoying being on his feet again.

We’re so happy and thankful to Leon and his fur parents for trusting us through his journey. 🐾

Leon is still in his observation phase, but once he completes it, he’ll be up for adoption. Hopefully, his next chapter will be with a forever family 🩷

Heart’s journey to a life WITHOUT the e-collar 🥹🐱

Heart has been dealing with itchiness and skin allergies since 2024. For a long time, the e-collar was her constant companion just to stop her from scratching and making things worse 💔

So we did allergy testing and started working on finding out what was making her so uncomfortable.

Our goal was simple: one day, Heart won’t need that e-collar anymore. 🥹

And look at her now! ❤️
She’s still recovering and we’re still managing her allergies, but she has been e-collar-free for the past few weeks to months and the improvement has been amazing.

No more cone. More comfort. More time being a normal, happy cat 🐾

We’re not done yet, but seeing Heart this comfortable makes everything worth it. ❤️

One day at a time, Heart. We got you. 🐱✨

🐱 CASE HIGHLIGHT: TAKI

All the way from Bicol, Taki came to Manila Feline Center after having bladder marsupialization with tube cystotomy from April to August to help manage his urinary problem.

Because Taki also has Type 2 Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, deciding on another surgery was challenging. But we knew repairing his bladder and addressing his urinary tract was his best chance for a better quality of life.

So we removed the bladder tube, repaired and closed his bladder, and performed a perineal urethrostomy (PU).

And now, the good news—Taki is going home tomorrow! 🥹🩷

Big thanks to Doc KC, his attending vet, and all our nurses for taking such good care of Taki and making him feel safe and loved during his stay 🐾

Our boy is officially out of isolation and ready to serve! 😎🐱

He still has his e collar on because that little tongue of his needs to stay AWAY from his paw wound.

For everyone asking where Kitler has been—he stayed in our non-infectious ward while we treated his wound. And now… look who’s back to his usual self! 🐾✨

Say hi when you see Kitler around! 👋
Just don’t expect him to say hi back.

Sometimes, one little bag of blood can mean another chance ❤️‍🩹🐱

One of our feline patients came to Manila Feline Center needing a blood transfusion because of severe anemia.

Before anything else, we made sure the donor and recipient were blood-typed and compatible. Because in cats, the right match really matters.

For this little fighter, every drop meant more oxygen, more strength, and a little more time to keep fighting. 🐾

Thank you to every blood donor cat who helps save a fellow feline 🩷

An interesting case at Manila Feline Center! 🩷🩺👩‍⚕️

Meet Lily, who came to us for what seemed like a routine dental check-up. Upon physical examination, her teeth looked perfectly fine—nothing alarming at first glance. 👀

But during her COHAT, we noticed something interesting 🤔🧐

Two specific teeth were painful and caused Lily to twitch when examined.

So, we took dental X-rays… and lo and behold! We found changes consistent with tooth resorption🦷😬

This is why dental care is important—even in younger cats. Sometimes, the teeth may look okay on the outside, but the real problem is hiding beneath the gums🐱🦷

Dental x-rays help us see what the naked eye cannot!

Our sweet senior boy Oreo is getting ready to fly this1st week of September!🐱🤍

We’ve seen him through his visits with us, and now he’s off to a whole new chapter. It’s honestly a little bittersweet seeing one of our senior patients leave—but we’re also so happy for him 🥹

Senior cat, international traveler, and soon to be a proper British gentleman. 😂🇬🇧

A huge thank you for being our reliever vet and helping take care of our MFC patients throughout the whole month of August. You truly saved the day (and probably a few of our schedules too 😹)!
