Every morning, our volunteer checks on Mama Patty and her puppies, Lisbon and Van Pelt, from their balcony. Today, Patty looked back and barkedā€¦ as if to say ā€œAno pang tinitingin tingin mo dyan? Gutom na kami!!ā€ šŸ˜‚

Alonā€™s story didnā€™t end the way we had hopedā€¦ and today, our hearts are heavy.

She came to us with her three siblings, brought in by a concerned individual from the village. They were so small, so fragile, and fighting battles we couldnā€™t see. One by one, her siblings crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving Alon behind.

Still, she held onā€¦ and we held on with her.

Last Thursday morning, everything changed. She struggled to breathe. We rushed her to the vet, holding on to that same fragile hopeā€¦ but this time, it wasnā€™t enough.

Alon fought quietly and bravely until the very end.

Run free, little one. You were loved. You mattered. And you will never be forgotten.

Meet Karrot, one of the beneficiaries of our TNVR program.

She used to live as a community cat, but while caring for her, we couldnā€™t help but feel that sheā€™s ready for a chance at indoor life. Because of this, weā€™d love to try and find her a loving family who can give her that chance.

Karrot will need an understanding adopter who will allow her to adjust at her own pace and help her feel safe.

Meet Alon, a little survivor with a big heart.

Alon was rescued along with her siblings by one of our volunteers. They were found in very poor condition, and sadly, she was the only one who made it.

Despite everything she went through, Alon is now thriving wellā€¦ growing stronger each day and slowly showing her sweet, playful side.

She ā€˜s a fighter and sheā€™s now ready for a fresh start. Weā€™re hoping to find a loving and responsible family who will continue to nurture her, keep her safe, and give her the life she deserves.
