Lutie’s Journey: From Pain to Recovery 🐾💚

Meet Lutie, a 2-month-old kitten who came to NERS with a severe eye problem associated with feline herpesvirus infection. 🐱

Her affected eye had already developed significant damage, causing her discomfort and making it difficult for her to see properly.

After careful assessment, surgical removal of the severely affected eye was performed to help relieve her pain and prevent further complications.

✨ One week after surgery, look at Lutie now! ✨

She is much more comfortable, brighter, and slowly getting back to being a playful kitten. Her remaining eye is still a little cloudy as she continues to recover, so close monitoring and proper eye care remain important. 🤍

At only 2 months old, Lutie has already been through so much — but she continues to show us how strong our little patients can be. 🥹🐾

Recovery takes time, but every little improvement matters.

Thank you for trusting NERS Veterinary Clinic with Lutie’s care. 💚

Every pet deserves compassionate care — especially the little ones who need it most. 🐶🐱
