Dear (and day 7 much delayed),
Something super weird happened so i have to document it. Skyler was actively ignoring my husband last night- which means she knows he is calling but chooses to ignore it. I was sitting beside him on the couch and he told me, YOU call her name. I scoffed because she normally comes to him and not to me. But i tried anyway. And i kid you not, i barely even finished saying “Skyler…” when she dashed to me immediately! Like a runner when the gun goes off. Like she had been waiting all her life for me to call her name. I was so surprised my mouth dropped open and i fell back. So i had no choice now but to go the shelf and get her a treat. I was still reeling in shock so the next day i tried it again and tried to video - so of course she decided to actively ignore me 🤣. Looking away pretending not to hear. I knoooow you can hear me skyler! Haaay cats are fun and interesting. They will keep you on your toes.
