Late night and early morning CS. ✨

First-time mom, Keixa (FB), and Snow (Siamese x Persian) successfully underwent an emergency C-section. 🐢 🐱

Keixa delivered 5 healthy puppies. On the other hand, Snow delivered 3 healthy kittens. One kitten was born via normal delivery but was unfortunately dead upon arrival, and 4 kittens were delivered through cesarean, but 1 kitten was also dead. Snow was spayed afterward.

The two consecutive sleepless nights were very worth it because we delivered healthy and adorable pups and kittens. To God be the glory! πŸ™πŸ»β€οΈ

An emergency C-section was successfully performed on a 1-year-old Chihuahua due to prolonged labor lasting 24 hours.

One puppy was unfortunately dead upon normal delivery, and the remaining puppy inside the womb was already mummified.

Mommy dog "Lira" was fully recovered after a day of confinement and monitoring. 🐢❀️

Cats and dogs have plastic surgery too! 🀭

HOTZ-CELSUS PROCEDURE was successfully done as a permanent plastic surgery in an adult cat to correct entropion. In humans, this procedure is similar to Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty. ✨ ✨ 🐾

Entropion is an eye condition where the eyelid rolls inward, causing hair and lashes to rub against the cornea.

It leads to pain, tearing, and potential corneal ulcers. It is common in dogs and less frequent in cats.

In cats, it is less common, but seen in brachycephalic breeds like Persians or as a secondary issue from chronic infections like feline herpesvirus.

Older pets can also develop it due to loss of fat and muscle tone around the eye.

Signs and Symptoms of Entropion:

- Excessive tearing or wet fur around the eye.
- Squinting, blinking, or holding the eye shut.
- Redness, swelling, and mucus or pus discharge.
- Rubbing or pawing at the face.
- Cloudy, blue, or scarred cornea from chronic friction

Kami lang ba yung vet clinic na kahit nasa 2nd floor na ay dinadayo pa ng mga pusa para magbakasali at hingian ng pagkain? 😹

Pangatlong araw na niyang daily routine tuwing hapon na manghingi ng pagkain dito sa clinic. Mag-iingay yan siya sa labas para sa catfoooood. Will vaccinate and castrate him after 7 days.

Malambing po siya na pusa at very vocal. Estimate age is 1-2 year old. Baka po interested kayo na mag-ampon ng toxedo cat. Message lang po kayo samin! Salamat po! 😊❀️

This is Sev, who underwent urinary catheterization twice due to recurring FLUTD.

When to visit your veterinarian?
1. When your cat is straining in the litter box.
2. When your cat urinates with little or no urine.
3. When your cat has blood in the urine.
4. When your cat is urinating outside the box.
