Lewis Hamilton pulled out of a Ferrari tyre test to stay by his dog Roscoe’s side after he fell into a coma.

Hamilton had been scheduled to take part in a Pirelli tyre test with Ferrari at Mugello, but withdrew after Roscoe became seriously ill.

Roscoe, his beloved bulldog, had suffered complications from pneumonia and was placed under sedation for checks.

Hamilton later shared that Roscoe’s heart stopped during the process, but vets managed to bring back a heartbeat.

He remained in a coma, and Hamilton chose to be with him instead of attending the test.

Ferrari replaced Hamilton with reserve driver Zhou Guanyu.

Roscoe had been part of Hamilton’s life since 2013 and had become famous with F1 fans, regularly appearing at races and on Hamilton’s social media.

For many fans, this showed a different side of the seven-time world champion.

Not the driver chasing lap times.

Just a man staying beside his best friend when it mattered most.

In a statement, flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced the nationwide launch of its FurPAL program—now available on every domestic flight.

This groundbreaking in-flight service was launched in November 2025, allowing fur parents to travel with their small dogs in-cabin, creating inclusive travel experiences for pet lovers everywhere. According to PAL, this service will be available for cats soon.

With its expansion to all domestic routes, now you can fly with your pet from Manila to Boracay for summer getaway, head home to Davao, or plan a food trip to Bacolod, your small dog can now be right there with you in the cabin.

Ipinagmamalaki ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Pasig ang pagkakaroon ng sariling Animal Hospital, isang pasilidad na magbibigay ng serbisyong medikal at agarang lunas para sa mga alagang hayop ng mga Pasigueño. Layunin ng proyekto na masiguro ang kalusugan, proteksyon, at kapakanan ng mga hayop sa lungsod.

Ayon sa lokal na pamahalaan, ang Animal Hospital ay bahagi ng mas pinalawak na programa ng Pasig City para sa responsableng pag-aalaga ng hayop at pagkalinga sa buong komunidad. Patunay ito ng adhikain ng lungsod na maghatid ng serbisyong hindi lamang para sa tao, kundi pati na rin sa kanilang mga alagang hayop. 🐾
