🚨 KITTENS THROWN INTO A GARBAGE BIN! πŸ±πŸ’”

To the people who abandoned these kittens in Brgy. Salog, Purok 5, please remember that we have laws protecting animals.

These were just tiny kittens. They had no way of protecting themselves or finding food on their own. They are not garbage, and they should never be treated as something to throw away.

We have the Animal Welfare Act (RA 8485, as amended by RA 10631), which provides protection for animals. Responsible pet ownership means taking responsibility for an animal even when caring for them becomes difficult.

πŸ™ A huge thank you to the students of SORSU who rescued these kittens and, even more importantly, chose to adopt them and give them loving homes. ❀️

If you can no longer care for an animal, ask for help, find a responsible adopter, or reach out to animal welfare groups. Please don't abandon them.

Every life matters, no matter how small. 🐾❀️

Let us be responsible. Let us be compassionate. Let us protect those who cannot speak for themselves.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Municipality of Pilar, Sorsogon, under the leadership of Hon. Dennis A. Sy-Reyes, Municipal Mayor, and the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) for their support and cooperation in making our Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Program possible. ❀️🐢🐱

Our heartfelt thanks as well to our partner, Stray Neuter Project, for their continued dedication and service to the animals and pet owners in our community.

Programs like this give more pet owners the opportunity to have their pets spayed or neutered at an affordable cost and encourage responsible pet ownership.

To all the pet owners who participated, thank you for choosing to be responsible and for caring about the welfare of your beloved pets.

Nakikiusap po ang SARA sa ating mga kababayan sa MadrileΓ±a St., Roseville Subdivision, Sorsogon City na tulungan po nating mahanap ang isang 4-month-old kitten na nawawala mula pa po 9:00 AM ngayong araw.

🐱 4 months old pa lamang
🏠 Indoor cat at hindi sanay sa labas
πŸ’™ Male kitten / beloved baby ng kanyang pamilya

Malaki po ang pangamba ng kanyang pamilya dahil hindi siya sanay gumala sa labas. Baka po may nakakita, nakapulot, o nakapansin sa kanya. Baka po may taong nakapagligtas o nakakuha sa kanya nang hindi alam na may naghahanap sa kanya.

It is truly difficult.

We do not have regular sponsors we can depend on every month. Almost every day, we have to start againβ€”finding ways to provide food, medicine, and other basic needs for our rescued animals.

Sometimes, I cry because the struggle is overwhelming. Sometimes, I feel exhausted. But when I look at them, I know I cannot simply turn my back on them.

I love them. ❀️

But our mission is not only about rescuing animals. We also want to educate and enlighten people about responsible pet ownership.

We want people to understand that the problem of stray animals cannot be solved simply by repeatedly catching them. We need to address the root causes through responsible ownership, registration, vaccination, spay and neuter, adoption, and education.

We cannot save every animal. But we can continue doing what we can, one life at a time.

We may not have regular sponsors, but we will continue knocking on the hearts of people who are willing to help.

Because as long as there are animals depending on us, we will keep fighting for them. 🐾❀️

HUMIHINGI PO ULIT KAMI NG TULONG PARA SA PAGKAIN NILA 🐾

Alam po namin na may mga taong napapagod na ring makakita ng aming mga post tungkol sa paghingi ng tulong. Naiintindihan po namin iyon.

Pero sana po, maintindihan din ninyo kung bakit kailangan naming mag-post muli.

Kahapon po, sa mga natanggap naming tulong, 3 sacks of dog food at 10 kilos na bigas lamang ang aming nabili. Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng tumulong. β€οΈπŸ™

Pero para sa mahigit 200 dogs at mga cats na nasa aming pangangalaga, hindi po iyon nagtatagal.

Hindi po namin pinipilit ang sinuman na mag-donate. Kung hindi po kayo makakatulong, okay lang po. Hindi rin po namin hinihingi na intindihin ninyo ang lahat ng aming ginagawa.

Ang hinihiling lang po namin ay huwag sanang maliitin o pagtawanan ang aming paghingi ng tulong.

Hindi po kami humihingi dahil gusto namin. Humihingi po kami dahil may mga hayop na umaasa sa amin at kailangan nilang kumain araw-araw.

Sa mga patuloy na nagtitiwala at tumutulong, maraming maraming salamat po. Kayo po ang dahilan kung bakit patuloy naming kinakaya. ❀️🐾

Panginoon, sa pagsisimula ng buwan ng October,
lumalapit po kami sa Iyo nang may pusong puno ng pag-asa, pagmamahal at pasasalamat.

Ngayong Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, ipinapanalangin namin ang lahat ng mga asong nasa sheltersβ€”lalo na ang mga inabandona, inabuso, nagugutom, may sakit, at matagal nang naghihintay ng isang tahanan.

Panginoon, bantayan Mo po sila.
Bigyan Mo sila ng sapat na pagkain, malinis na tubig, gamot, kaligtasan at mga taong tunay na magmamahal sa kanila.

Ipinapanalangin din namin ang lahat ng rescuers, volunteers, veterinarians, foster families, adopters at donors.
Bigyan Mo po kami ng lakas kapag kami ay napapagod, pag-asa kapag kami ay pinanghihinaan ng loob, at mga mabubuting taong magiging katuwang namin sa aming misyon.

Buksan Mo po ang puso ng mga taong naghahanap ng alagang hayop upang kanilang isaalang-alang ang adoption.
Nawa'y makita nila na sa bawat shelter dog ay may isang buhay na naghihintay lamang ng pagkakataong mahalin at magkaroon ng sariling tahanan.

Panginoon, turuan Mo rin ang bawat pet owner ng responsableng pag-aalagaβ€”ang pagpapakain, pagpapagamot, pagbabakuna, pagpapakapon at higit sa lahat, ang hindi pag-abandona sa kanilang mga alaga.

Para sa mga hayop na hindi pa namin kayang tulungan,
ipinagkakatiwala namin sila sa Iyong pag-iingat.
At para sa mga hayop na nasa aming pangangalaga,
bigyan Mo kami ng kakayahang maibigay ang kanilang mga pangangailangan araw-araw.

Nawa'y maging paalala ang buwang ito na ang adoption ay nagbibigay ng pangalawang pagkakataon sa isang buhay.

Panginoon, samahan Mo kami sa bawat rescue, bawat pagpapakain, bawat pagpapagamot at bawat paghahanap ng tahanan.
