🚨 PYOMETRA

🚨Stop the Violence

M is a 1-year-old mixed-breed dog who was brought to our clinic after suffering from gunshot-like injuries caused by a Jolen/marble gun. He was experiencing difficulty walking and had several wounds.

A thorough physical examination and laboratory tests were performed. Our findings showed that M had a complete fracture of his left radius and ulna (the two main bones of the forelimb). We also discovered that a marble was still lodged in the right side of his chest.

Treatment:
M underwent surgery to safely remove the embedded marble. His fractured leg was then placed in a cast to keep the bones stable.

A gentle reminder to everyone: Animals, they feel pain, fear, and suffering just as we do. They may not be able to speak for themselves, but they deserve kindness, compassion, and protection.

No animal deserves to be shot, abused, or intentionally hurt. If an animal is causing a problem, there are humane and responsible ways to address the situation. Violence should never be the answer.
