A LITTLE REMINDER FROM PAW HOUSE 🤍
We’ve gone back and forth on whether to post this, because we’ve always preferred handling concerns privately and respectfully. But after experiencing several similar situations, we feel that it’s important to share why we have this policy.
For ALL pets coming in for grooming, we require complete and updated:
• ALL-IN-ONE VACCINATION
• ANTI-RABIES VACCINATION
We understand that many grooming shops may not require vaccination records, and we completely understand if you’re used to that. But at Paw House, we choose to be extra careful because we genuinely want to do our part in keeping all our guests, their families, and our staff safe.
We know that requiring these documents may sometimes mean turning away a grooming appointment, and yes, that can mean losing a sale. But we’d rather do what we believe is right for everyone’s safety, even when it’s not always the easiest decision for our business.
When our staff ask for records, they are simply doing what they were instructed to do. They are not trying to inconvenience anyone or question how you care for your pets. 🥺
We’ve had instances where our staff were shouted at, sworn at, or spoken to harshly because of this policy. And honestly, this is the part that is difficult for us. Our team is simply trying their best to follow the rules we have set for Paw House.
We are always happy to explain, clarify, and work with you when there is a misunderstanding. We only ask that our staff be spoken to with kindness and respect. 🤍
If your pet’s vaccines are updated but your documents do not show this, please coordinate with your veterinarian and provide proper documentation so we can verify it.
We may lose a sale, but we will always choose safety. We just hope you can understand where we’re coming from and be a little kinder to the people who are simply doing their best to care for your pets. 🐾
Thank you for understanding and for always supporting Paw House. 🤍
