Andrew Ong & Nordstrom Von Sobaka “North” MR1

Andrew “Drew” Ong may be relatively new to dog sports, starting only in 2023 with his first dog, North, but his dedication and training mindset quickly set him apart. In a short time, the team has shown impressive progress and commitment to the sport.

With the guidance and support of Asia’s only world-level decoy, Rogelio Estrera, Drew and North have continued to develop their skills and understanding of the demanding sport of Mondioring.

At the 114th Mondioring Trials in Southern Plains, judged by Stefano Cetto (Italy), Drew and North delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 2nd place out of 14 competitors with a score of 187.5—a strong statement of what dedication, proper training, and teamwork can achieve. The team is now preparing to take on the next challenge as they move up to Mondioring Level 2.

Outside the dog sport field, Andrew is also active in the boxing world as a professional boxing manager in the Philippines and an affiliate of the legendary Elorde Boxing. He is also an entrepreneur, running his own café and restaurant, Junglebrew Cafe & Resto.

From managing fighters to training a competitive working dog, Drew brings the same discipline, passion, and relentless drive to everything he does.
