An 8-year-old mixed male dog with cryptorchidism was presented due to a mass on the left side of his p***s. He underwent surgical removal, JP drain placement and histopathology evaluation. The result from VSU-CVM Pathology confirmed a Sertoli Cell Tumor.
Sertoli Cell Tumor is one of the most common testicular tumor in dogs. Retained or undescended testicle has higher risk in developing tumors or other complications.
Castration can help prevent this complication.
