🐾 BE KIND TO STRAYS. 🐾
As heavy rains continue and floodwaters may rise in many areas, stray animals are also struggling to survive. They don’t have warm homes, dry beds, or food bowls waiting for them. All they have is their instinct to seek safety.
🔸 Please don’t shoo them away.
If a dog or cat is quietly taking shelter by your gate, under a roof, or near your building, let them stay. It could be the only dry and safe place they can find.
🔸 Offer what you can.
Many strays rely on rummaging through garbage or looking for scraps but during floods, trash is swept away, food sources are gone, and they may go days without eating. Even a bowl of rice, leftovers, or clean water can give them the strength to keep going.
🔸 They are not a nuisance. They are just trying to survive. Please show kindness when you see them seeking shelter or food.
In times of crisis, be someone they can count on. They deserve warmth, safety, and a chance to live. 🐾💜
