Requirement for Antirabies Vaccination:
--3 months old and above
--Must be recently dewormed
--No recent contact to animal bites, mauling, or suspected rabid animal
--Must be apparently healthy- with no signs of illness upon presentation (no diarrhea, no vomiting, no fever,no inappetence, no cough, no nasal and ocular discharges)

Requirement for Low Cost Cat Kapon:
- Must be apparently healthy — no signs of illness upon presentation (no diarrhea, no vomiting, no fever,no inappetence, no cough, no nasal and ocular discharges)for the last 90 days.
-Must have a recent deworm and antirabies vaccine
-At least 8 months old and above; weighs at least 2 kg.
-Complete blood count if deemed necessary as per assessment by the attending veterinarian.
-Fasting for at least 6-8 hrs before the procedure
-Must be in a secure cage/crate
- Post- operative medications such as take home antibiotics, pain reliever and e- collars are not included.
- additional fees applied to female cats depending if in heat or pregnant

*The attending Veterinarian has the right to decline the service if the animal is unfit for the procedure.

It's a hot and sunny season to cool down our pets! If you are planning on taking them for a groom to Seika Veterinary Clinic - Naguilian ELYU, please read and follow our policy for any grooming ap-PAW-intment! 🐱🐶 🐾

PET GROOMING POLICY
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Monday- Saturday 9:00 am- 1:00 pm
*walk-ins subject to availability
of slot

1.Health and Medical Requirements
-At least 6 months old and above
-Not pregnant
-Mandatory complete & updated vaccinations and deworm
-No signs of illnesses for the past 3 months such as vomiting, lethargy, diarrhea, inappetence, lameness, nose/eye discharge
-No ticks and fleas present, we have the right to refuse grooming session if pets are infested (must take anti-tick/ flea preventives first)

2.Provide Necessary Documentation and Safety
-Vaccination Card
-Contact Information
-Signed waivers and policy forms
-Pets must be leashed/ harnessed and caged or contained in carriers.

3. Behavior and Aggression
-Inform us of any history of biting, aggression, or extreme anxiety.
-For safety, we may use muzzles or hammock restraints
-If a pet poses an immediate danger to our staff or themselves, grooming sessions will be stopped and services completed up to that point will be charged to the owner.

4.Drop-off and Pick-up
-Drop- off time 9:30 am- 1pm only
-Pets must be picked up within 30-60 minutes of receiving our pick-up notification.
-Pets left beyond the grace period will incur a late pick-up fee.

5. Emergency Medical Authorization
-In the rare event of a medical emergency, we will make every effort to contact you immediately.
-If the owner is unreachable, we are authorized to seek veterinary care.
-All resulting medical expenses will be the sole responsibility of the owner.

Public Service Announcement:
To the Clients of Seika Veterinary Clinic

We know that when your pet is hurting, your stress levels are through the roof. We get it—we’re pet parents, too. But we need to have a heart-to-heart about how that stress is being directed.

Lately, our team has been facing an increasing amount of verbal, aggressive demands, and general disrespect. Before you raise your voice or snap at the person behind the counter, please remember:

--We are human beings. The doctor you’re yelling at stayed late last night to monitor a post-op patient. The nurse you’re snapping at just had to help a family say their final goodbye to their beloved furbaby. We have feelings, families, and limits.

--Triage is not "first come, first served." If we are attending to another pet before yours, it’s often because that animal’s life is hanging in the balance. We promise to get to you as quickly as we safely can.

--Referrals. When we recommend referring your pet to a specialist or a facility with a complete diagnostic laboratory, it is because your pet’s health is our top priority. A referral is not a sign of a lack of care; rather, it is a proactive step to ensure your pet receives efficient medical attention available.

--The "V" in Vet stands for Veterinary, not Villain. We aren't "in it for the money." If we were, we’d be in human medicine. We are here because we care for animals, even when the job is physically and emotionally exhausting.

--Kindness gets you further. We will always go the extra mile for a patient. It is much easier for us to do our best work in an environment of mutual respect rather than one of hostility.

Our Policy:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior. This includes yelling, swearing, personal insults, or physical intimidation. If you cannot treat our staff with basic decency, we will kindly ask you to find another clinic.

We love your pets. We want them healthy and happy just as much as you do. Let’s work together as a team to make that happen.
