🐱👂 AURAL HEMATOMA IN CATS🐾

Have you noticed that your cat’s ear suddenly looks swollen, thick, or puffy like a small balloon?
It could be an aural hematoma, a collection of blood between the layers of the ear flap, often caused by excessive scratching or head shaking.

⚠️ Common causes include:
🐾 Ear mites or ear infections
🐾 Allergies or skin irritation
🐾 Trauma or excessive scratching
🐾 Frequent head shaking

What should you do?
Don’t try to drain or puncture the swelling at home. Aural hematomas can be painful and may return if the underlying ear problem is not treated. Early veterinary examination helps identify the cause and determine the appropriate treatment.

🐱 If your cat has a swollen ear, bring them to your veterinarian as soon as possible.
Proper diagnosis and treatment can help prevent complications and keep your fur baby comfortable.

🐶👁️ HOW TO HELP PREVENT EYE ENUCLEATION IN DOGS🐾

Eye enucleation is the surgical removal of an eye and may become necessary when the eye is severely damaged, infected, painful, or affected by conditions that cannot be treated medically. While not every case can be prevented, early veterinary care can help protect your dog’s eye and may improve the chances of saving it.💚

Here are some important tips for responsible fur parents:

🐾 Have eye redness, swelling, discharge, cloudiness, or squinting checked immediately.

🐾 Prevent your dog from scratching or rubbing an injured eye.

🐾 Keep your dog away from fights and situations that can cause eye trauma.

🐾 Never use human eye drops or leftover medications without veterinary advice.

🐾 Follow your veterinarian’s treatment instructions and scheduled rechecks.

🐾 Regular check-ups can help detect eye problems before they become severe.

Remember: When it comes to your pet’s eyes, don’t wait and see. Early diagnosis and proper treatment can make a big difference.🐶💚

🐾❤️ **REMEMBERING KABANG — THE HERO DOG OF THE PHILIPPINES** 🇵🇭🐶

Kabang was not just an ordinary dog—she was a true **hero**. ❤️

In 2011, in Zamboanga City, Kabang bravely jumped in front of a motorcycle to save two young girls from being hit. She suffered severe injuries to her face and lost her snout, but her courage and love saved lives. 🥺🐾

Despite everything she went through, Kabang continued to show the world the incredible strength, loyalty, and unconditional love that dogs can give. She became an inspiration to many people around the world. 🌎❤️

Her story reminds us that **heroes don't always wear capes—sometimes, they have four paws and a wagging tail.** 🐕✨

Thank you, Kabang, for showing us what true courage and unconditional love look like. You will always be remembered as a **hero dog of the Philippines.** 🇵🇭❤️🐾
