ABOUT LEMUEL: When I was sent the videos of this stray dog I named Lemuel from Lemery, Batangas by concerned animal lover Cath Magtupa, I was really brokenhearted. He is hunched, eating uncomfortably given his disability, 3-legged, severely emaciated, furless, and frightened.

The report is that a couple of years ago, Lemuel was run over by a vehicle and one hind leg was severed/cut off. No help came and so he had to suffer the pain for so long till it healed by itself. Since then, he has been roaming around finding food with only three legs. I CANNOT IMAGINE HOW IMMENSE HIS SUFFERING MUST HAVE BEEN!

I consider it a miracle Lemuel remains alive today. I pray he be given a long life and the chance to feel loves by a caring family in a safe home. This is why I immediately arranged rescue. It was transporter Benjamin Jacinto who I asked to pick up Lemuel from the reporter who contained him, Novi Batalla Alteza.

Ben brought Lemuel to Vetlink Vet Clinic and has been confined there since yesterday. tests showed he is positive for ehrlichia, heartworm and sarcoptic mange but negative for distemper. He has pneumonia. He is now on IV fluids and medications. Please pray for Lemuel’s survival. May he revert back to good health asap.

To those with extra to share for this helpless dog, please help us save him. Let us give him a chance to feel how it is to be really loved and be a member of a family. Lord, help us all. Please save Lemuel!
