Chocolate

Chocolate poisoning first affects a bird's digestive system, causing vomiting and diarrhea. As the condition progresses, the bird's central nervous system is affected, first causing seizures and eventually death.
Salt
While all living beings need regulated amounts of sodium in their systems, too much salt can lead to a host of health problems in birds, including excessive thirst, dehydration, kidney dysfunction, and death.
Keep watch over the number of salty foods your bird consumes.

Have you ever heard the term SAPOLA but had no idea what this means?

Well, wonder no more because today I am going to clear it up especially to newbies with bird pets.

SAPOLA means fat in the cloaca/vent area of the bird as a result of eating too mUCH seeds. What can we do to prevent this from happening? Only give 2-3 scoops of food or seeds AND GIVE FRUITS/VEGETABLES 2-3 TIMES A WEEK . If your bird has a sapola, place it in a flight cage and allow it to fly to help reduce fat in its vent area.

Are lovebirds intelligent?
Lovebirds are intelligent and affectionate birds. They are okay for beginners, but require a bit more work than other species. They are best kept as pairs, since they require so much attention and affection. The lovebird is a small stocky parrot between 5.1-6.7 inches (13-17 cm).

What is free flight in birds?
