Leptospirosis is a serious bacterial disease that can affect animals and people. Floodwater and mud may become contaminated with urine from infected animals, increasing the risk of exposure.

• Loss of appetite
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Muscle pain, stiffness, or difficulty walking
• Increased thirst or urination

The recent flooding has deeply affected many of us, including Pawssible Animal Clinic. Like many Kapampangans, we are also facing the challenges and damage brought by this unfortunate weather.

But we believe that every storm will eventually pass, and every community has the strength to rise again. 🙏

For now, our priority is everyone’s safety—our clients, our patients, our staff, and our fellow Cabalens. Once the flood in our area subsides and it is safe to travel, Pawssible Animal Clinic will be ready to serve you again as soon as possible. 🐾❤️

Flooding can be extremely dangerous for our pets and animals. Aside from the risk of drowning, floodwater may contain bacteria, parasites, chemicals, sewage, and other harmful contaminants that can cause serious illness.

Please keep your pets indoors, dry, and safely away from floodwater whenever possible. If your pet has been submerged in floodwater for a long period, or becomes weak, cold, unusually quiet, has difficulty breathing, vomiting, diarrhea, or other concerning signs, please have them checked by a veterinarian as soon as possible.

Your pets depend on you to keep them safe during difficult times. ❤️🐶🐱🐦
