Perineal Hernia Correction in a 7-year old dog

Patient pesented with f***l straining, a deviated re**um packed with f***s.
Further evaluation found a herniated perineum containing prostate and fats

Procedure was done by making an internal obturator muscle flap or pelvic floor muscle flap, transposing and fixing it into the adjacent muscles such as the coccygeus and external sphincter muscles to create new pelvic diaphragm preventing the other tissues to herniate.

The patient was neutered at the same time and prostate support meds was maintained.

Leony, a 5 year old female dog presented with extreme abdominal pain 10/10 for 3 days. Unable to standstill.
CBC suggests an infection and anemia with apparent internal bleeding.
UTZ denotes endometritis with significant splenomegaly.

Ovariohysterectomy and Splenectomy were performed at a time. It was accompanied with suitable pain management.

Scrotal Urethrostomy to a 6 yr old Dachs with urethral obstructions.
This is use to take out the urinary stones along the urethra and is indicated to prevent mineralized calculi build up over time.
In his case, a new urethral or***ce was created permanently behind the sc***um where the urethral diameter is anatomically wider.

Amberly, who was ran over by a vehicle and sustained a comminuted fracture in her left femur-is a patient from Arayat, Pampanga.

They went to 4 vet centers and all of them suggested to amputate the affected leg as it was like an irreparable case.

It was a 3-day old fracture when brought to our clinic.

A locking plate system was utilized to put the strenght of the bone back in place. Plate is supported by an Intra-medullary Pin.

Now Amberly is able to use her leg and is expected that full healing will commence on the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

Brix-a 4 year old GR suffered from severe blood loss from uncontrolled nosebleed/epistaxis. He was diagnosed Ehrlichia(+) —-an intracellular parasite endemic to ticks.

Blood transfusion was required, and a total of 2 bags (850ml) of whole blood was immediately given to him.
