Milk fever happens when a nursing mother cat’s calcium drops too low, usually 2–4 weeks after giving birth, especially with large litters.

Lira, a mom of five 2-week-old kittens, suddenly became weak and developed seizures. With immediate veterinary care and calcium support, she was stabilized and able to recover.

⚠️ Watch for these signs:
β€’ Restlessness or anxiety
β€’ Weakness or collapse
β€’ Muscle tremors
β€’ Fast breathing or heartbeat
