UPDATE ON KAHEL

After 13 days of confinement, Kahel was discharged but remains in foster due to his weak condition. Although his condition has improved, he will still need a lot of medication in the coming days, so please pray for Kahelโ€™s recovery. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

Hello, Ka-Illumina! ๐Ÿฑ

One of our adopted cats, Inka, went missing last night around the pool area.

If you happen to see her, please send us a message or inform our PMO. She's very friendly with people but may be scared of other cats.

We last saw her around midnight, but she ran into the cluttered area in the steel parking. If you spot her or are able to safely catch her, kindly coordinate with our PMO. The owner has already informed the PMO, so they will know how to assist and contact the owner.

Due to the bad weather lately, our FIV patients (Kahel and Buntot) have been unwell. Since they are immunocompromised, they easily develop secondary symptoms that need immediate attention. This is exactly why they need a loving home to keep them safe. ๐Ÿฅบ

Yesterday, our volunteers found a sick white kitten in the pool area. The kitten was rushed to an emergency veterinary clinic but, despite efforts to save it, sadly passed away due to severe diarrhea and sepsis.

This incident serves as a reminder that ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ ๐š๐›๐š๐ง๐๐จ๐ง๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐š ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ง๐ž๐ ๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐š๐ฒ ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ ๐œ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ž๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐ฅ๐š๐ฐ.

Hi again ka- Illumineow! ๐Ÿ‘‹

This is BUNTOT.
He is another FIV-positive cat who was recently discharged after weeks in the clinic. As weโ€™ve previously mentioned with Kahelโ€™s case, cats with FIV should ideally be kept indoors for their health and to prevent fights with other cats that might spread the virus.

Buntot is neutered and has anti-rabies vaccine. He is awaiting his other vaccines as soon as the vet clears him. He is a bit spicy, picky with friends and likes trouble at times. ๐Ÿ˜… He probably wants all the attention for himself so itโ€™s safe to say it is best if he is the only pet you have (but heโ€™s friends with Kahel if you want to adopt/foster them both). โ˜บ๏ธ

Please consider fostering/adopting from us. We lack volunteers and resources and adopting will help us a lot. If youโ€™re interested in any of our cats, please leave us a message. โค๏ธ
