WE'RE HIRING: Veterinarian – Alfonso, Cavite
Biyaya Animal Care Foundation Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team at our Alfonso, Cavite facility. This role is essential in providing high-quality medical care, treatment, and long-term rehabilitation for rescued animals.
Key Responsibilities:
-Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries common in rescue cases
-Oversee recovery of hospitalized animals, including pain management and nutrition
-Provide emergency and life-saving care when needed
-Conduct physical examinations and health screenings for incoming rescues
-Implement quarantine protocols and administer vaccinations
Perform routine and advanced surgeries (spay/neuter, mass removal, dental procedures)
-Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
-Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance
-Prepare animals for adoption and educate adopters
-Participate in outreach programs, vaccination drives, and spay/neuter missions
Qualifications:
-Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
-Licensed Veterinarian in the Philippines (or eligible for licensure)
-Open to fresh graduates; experience in shelter/rescue medicine is an advantage
-Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Compassionate and committed to animal welfare
