ONE MONTH AGO, WE DIDN’T TRUST HUMANS. 💔🐾
Exactly one month ago, two humans went to the park to meditate. Instead, they found us. We were 2 abandoned kittens who were frightened, traumatized, and really difficult to catch. We didn’t know that these humans were about to change our lives. But they took us home, fed us, waited for us and gave us the space to be scared until, little by little, we realized that maybe humans weren’t so bad after all. They planned to keep us for 3 days but there was rescue prep like deworming and all… until they realized it has been a month!

Look at us now. 😻😻 We’re purry, healthy, social and the sweetest pair❣️ We even know how to enjoy being kittens.
Paulina says her job is done not because she doesn’t love us but she only meant to foster us temporarily, and she already has other cats to care for. She doesn’t have the resources or a permanent home of her own to keep five cats.
So today, exactly one month after we were rescued, we’re looking for the next chapter of our story.
We need an urgent foster or, hopefully, a forever family.
Our human rescued us from the streets. She taught us to trust. Now we need someone to teach us what it feels like to finally belong. 🏠❤️

Your donations made it possible for this new little family to have a safe space of their own. 🏠
We even got a Pentel pen and masking tape from 7-Eleven to mark their new property, although the pen mysteriously disappeared somewhere between picking up the delivery and getting everything set up. 😂
They also received a donated toy, and the kittens looked so happy exploring the rooftop of their new home. 🥹
We also moved the pair of anti-ant bowls that were absolutely teeming with ants from the gazebo to this area. The gazebo already has a gravity feeder, and this morning the feeder there reported that the paper plate for the family had been blown away by the wind.
Unfortunately, the park closed just as we finished washing the bowls, so we couldn’t do more tonight.
We are now looking for a dedicated feeder for this area and the nearby gazebo to help keep both feeding stations clean, orderly, and properly maintained.
We are also looking for a temporary home for the kittens. We have confirmed that Mama is pregnant and she needs to undergo a spay-abort. There are currently only 3 kittens with her, so we are hoping someone can provide them with a safe temporary space while Mama gets the care she needs.

We also messaged MACEA on Viber so they can coordinate with MAPA about the kitten rescue.
Another kitten who is at Doggieland Pet Hotel and Resort was rescued this way in the same area last week 💔
Kitten needs a foster home or a sponsor at the same nursery once rescued.

“If I could talk, this is what I would say.”
I was sick, hurting and scared. Someone left me here.
People saw me and knew I needed help but nobody stopped.
I don’t understand why. I didn’t ask to be born, to be abandoned and then, to become someone’s problem.
I only wanted someone to see me and think: “This little one needs help.”

What would you say to Blue if you were the person who abandoned him?
And what would you say if you were one of the people who saw him struggling but chose not to help, even when he was clearly in an emergency?
If you were BLUE, how would you want to be treated?
Would you want people to walk past you?
Would you want them to see your suffering and decide that it wasn’t their problem?
Or would you hope that, in your worst moment, someone would stop?
Blue is only a tiny kitten. But the way we treat the most vulnerable among us says something about the society we are building.
Is this really the society we want?
We don’t have to be able to save every animal. But surely, when we see one in obvious distress, we can choose not to look away. 💔🐾
