Cinemalaya 2026 star and certified MAHC baby Bini in the hauz!

Bini, a 2-year-old Pomeranian and MAHC patient since 2024, recently dropped by the clinic with her Lola Linda, for a quick check up. As a requirement for animals appearing in films, Bini needed proof that no harm or abuse was done to her during the shoot and that she's perfectly healthy and in good condition.

Bini will appear in Dustin Celestino's film A.ni.mal, which will open on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Our beloved nurse Donat hard at work.

This photo and several videos were sent by Eric, the human of Mitchy, a 13-year-old Aspin with pyometra and ovarian cysts. They commuted all the way from Valenzuela for Mitchy's pyospay yesterday. From the time they arrived at the clinic until Mitchy's recovery from anesthesia, Donat showed excellent bedside manners.

Just a few weeks ago, we wished Donat gets a scrub for his afternoon patient rounds. A dear client from the US wasted no time and immediately asked her Nanay to sew one for Donat.

Look! Our beloved clinic cat Donat is featured on Animal Scene! 😻

It was a hectic Saturday with 8 dental surgeries on top of the regular kapon. And as always, Donat helped monitor the patients as they recover from anesthesia.

After a particularly long night at the clinic, one staff member deserves their own pair of blue scrubs.

Donat, short for Donatello, was once under the care of the Cats of Legaspi Village. Before he became a permanent resident of the Makati Animal Health Clinic, he came to the clinic as a patient himself. But his calm spirit won every heart, and he never left.

After eight dental surgeries and a full schedule of kapons, the team finally slowed down. In the reception area, something gentle was happening.

Donat had taken it upon himself to make rounds. One by one, he approached the recovering patients—sniffing softly, offering a small headbutt, even settling beside a few groggy Cats and Dogs as they woke from anesthesia, like a tiny nurse on duty.

The last client of the night, Erick, captured this quiet moment after everyone else had gone home.
