In Part 3 of my DIY Stair Makeover series, I started building a storage area under the stairs for my tools.

This is still a work in progress, but I wanted to share how I’m planning and starting the setup to maximize this unused space. Even at this stage, you can already see how much more functional the area is becoming.

From installing PVC wood-style vinyl (Part 1) to adding step edges and repainting (Part 2), this project is slowly coming together—and this under-stair storage will complete the whole transformation.

Mga Kalat na Dahon: Gawing Natural Mulch sa Iyong Hardin

Pagod ka na bang maglinis ng mga nalalaglag na dahon? 🌿 Sa video na ito, ipapakita ko kung paano gawing kapaki-pakinabang ang mga “kalat” na dahon sa pamamagitan ng natural mulching.

Sa halip na itapon o sunugin, pwede natin itong gamitin para mapanatiling moist ang lupa, mapigilan ang damo (weeds), at mapabuti ang kalusugan ng ating halaman—100% organic at libre pa!

In Part 2 of our DIY Stair Makeover, I added step edges and repainted the stairs to complete the transformation.

After installing the PVC wood-style vinyl in Part 1, the stairs already looked better, but adding step edges for protection and repainting the sides made a huge difference. The final result looks much cleaner, safer, and more premium.

This project proves that even with affordable materials, you can achieve a modern and elegant stair upgrade with a little DIY effort.

Another DIY project done! 🙌
This time, I upgraded our stairs using PVC wood-style vinyl. I wanted something affordable but still looks classy — and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Sometimes budget materials get a bad reputation, but with proper installation and design choice, you can achieve a high-end look without spending too much.
