Amara’s Sanctuary Amara’s Sanctuary is a mini farm in Malagonlong, Lipa focused on sustainable agriculture and aquaculture.

We raise fish, ducks, herbs, and aquatic plants while promoting hands-on learning to inspire kids and families through real farm experiences.

Nothing goes to waste in nature. One of our small red tilapia didn’t make it, but it became a meal for one very happy crayfish. Every life plays a role in the cycle of nature. 🪴🦞🐟

Fresh red tilapia from our pond, grilled and enjoyed with friends together with liempo, chicken, fresh fruits, and iced gulaman.

This is what we dreamed Amara’s Sanctuary would be. A simple place for real moments, good food, and meaningful time together.

Every small business has a story, and we’re thankful that some of the first chapters of Amara’s Sanctuary were shared with friends who genuinely support us.

The nursery is full. 🐟🐟🐟

These tiny red tilapia arrived as fry, and they’ve been eating, growing, and keeping us busy ever since. 😃

We even added a breeder tank, so who knows, maybe we’ll have some homegrown babies swimming around before long.

For now, they’re just doing what fish do best: eat, swim, repeat. 🩷

A few weeks ago, we shared how our freshly caught tilapia became sun dried goodness.

Since then, many of you have already placed your orders, and we’re happy to see packs of our Premium Tilapia Daing making their way to new homes. 🐟☀️

Made from freshly caught tilapia, carefully marinated and traditionally sun dried, each pack is prepared with the same simple process we shared in our first post.

Some people might be startled to find an Oriental Garden Lizard saying hello while they’re preparing breakfast.

At Amara’s Sanctuary, we see it differently.

Every wild creature that chooses to stay reminds us that nature still feels at home here. Their presence is a quiet sign of balance, healthy surroundings, and a space where wildlife feels safe.

Fun fact: The Oriental Garden Lizard is harmless to people and helps control insect populations, making it one of our favorite garden neighbors.

Freshly caught tilapia turned into sun dried goodness the simple way. Using nothing but the sun, a simple marinade, and a little patience. Honestly, it comes out so flavorful and even better than you would expect.

With so many activities lately, I wanted to pause for a while and visit my power trio. Mommy and daddy have been so busy lately and somehow I always get dragged into their busy schedules too 😅.

Good thing these 3 little duckies are always hungry because feeding them somehow makes everything feel lighter and happier 🦆🦆🦆
