Just a quick confirmation of a microchip injection with this baby 🐕.

Did you know that the microchip injector is BIG - and it must have hurt this kuya because his body-wagging stopped for a bit after. 🥹

So yesss, here was doc Jackie who trained with Dr. Tiziana Liuti via Nuvetus on Diagnostic Imaging in Emergency, last September 4-6, 2026 at Pasig City.

Some of her favorite takeaways were about the FNA procedure vs biopsy, adrenal masses and the hypertensive crisis related, and prostatitis utz-guided intervention to name a few!

August was a long month. So much has happened - including our clinic’s anniversary and even some graduates on our anniversary date itself which we lost. 😭

We always love how you all take care of your furfam and have been trusting us with your basic needs including protective vaccination. 🫶🏼

Biopsy result: BENIGN!! 🥳🥳🥳

Does it mean it was a waste of time and funds and effort?

Oh no - it means that we celebrate that we don’t have to worry too much that there are circulating cancer cells. ❤️

This was a feline castration of a different kind.

He had Abdominal Cryptorchidism.

This is a situation where the balls (testicles) do not descend unto the external sac that you can easily see - they stay inside the body.

And this was admittedly our first feline case at GSVC!

He is now home and is grumpily, very orangely, forcibly accepting his post-castration care. 🫶🏼🧡

💡 A male dog and cat’s testicle is expected to be properly descended by the age of 6 months - much earlier in cats at 2 to 3 months of age!

Do you think your furbaby is a cryptorchid? It actually poses higher risks for cancer due to the higher temperature within the body, and also the painful possibility of torsion.

Please don’t hesitate to ask your vet team about cryptorchidism if it concerns you. 🤗
