🐱 DON'T RUSH THE FOOD SWITCH! 🍽️

Changing your cat's food may seem simple, but doing it too quickly can lead to digestive upset. A gradual transition gives your cat's stomach time to adjust to new ingredients, reducing the risk of vomiting, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, and even food refusal.

A good rule of thumb is to introduce the new food over 7–10 days by slowly increasing the amount of the new diet while decreasing the old one. This makes the transition smoother and helps your cat adapt more comfortably.
If your cat has a sensitive stomach or a medical condition, consult your veterinarian before making any dietary changes. 🩺🩷

How long does it usually take your cat to accept a new food? Tell us in the comments! 🐾

🎉 A New Rehabilitation Referral Practitioner in Las Piñas!

The CCAT Philippines family proudly congratulates Dr. Stephanie Garma-Peralta, DVM, CCAT on successfully completing the Certified Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist (CCAT) program. We are proud to welcome another dedicated rehabilitation referral practitioner serving the companion animals of Las Piñas City and nearby communities.

A graduate of De La Salle Araneta University, Dr. Stephanie Garma-Peralta has been dedicated to companion animal medicine since 2013. As the co-founder and a practicing veterinarian at New Alabang Veterinary Center, Inc., she focuses heavily on her passion for soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.

Recognizing that true surgical success depends on excellent post-operative recovery, Dr. Peralta earned her Certified Companion Animal Therapist (CCAT) credential. This specialized training proves invaluable daily as she designs rehabilitation plans for geriatric patients and animals recovering from traumatic injuries, ensuring they return to a high quality of life.

🩺📖 LEARNING TODAY TO SAVE LIVES TOMORROW 🐾

At New Alabang Veterinary Center, we believe that excellence in patient care begins with continuous learning.

We are proud to share that Dr. Henry and Dr. Cyd participated in the Small Animal Abdominal Ultrasonography Workshop held from June 10–12, 2026, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Tiziana Liuti, Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging at the Royal School of Veterinary Studies, The University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
