We understand that visiting the vet can be a stressful experience for both cats and caregivers. Our top tips will help reduce some of that stress and anxiety 👇

🐱 Choose a sturdy and secure carrier, place a blanket from home inside for a familiar scent.

🐱 Leave the carrier out at home as an extra bed or safe space, so your cat doesn’t always associate it with leaving.

🐱 Spray the carrier with synthetic feline pheromones at least 15 minutes before putting your cat in it.

🐱 Cover the carrier with a cloth or towel while you are travelling to help keep your cat calm. Rather than holding the carrier by the handle, which can cause it to swing, carry it with both hands from underneath.

Spay

Our patient Prada, a 4-year-old female Shih Tzu who recently had her spay surgery done under gas anesthesia and she did amazing! 🐶

Prada recovered beautifully thanks to careful monitoring, gentle handling, and safe anesthesia techniques. She’s back to her cheerful, fluffy self, ready for cuddles!🐾

𝙅𝘼𝙍𝙑𝙄𝙎: 𝙏𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙄𝘾𝙐𝙇𝘼𝙍 𝙏𝙐𝙈𝙊𝙍 𝘾𝘼𝙎𝙀
An 8-year-old male Poodle who recently visited our clinic due to lethargy and inappetent. Upon thorough physical examination, Jarvis was diagnosed with a testicular tumor located in the inguinal area.

To address the condition and prevent further complications, our veterinary team performed laboratory tests and surgical removal of the affected testicle under gas anesthesia. Gas anesthesia allows us to carefully monitor and control anesthesia levels, providing a safer and more stable procedure for our patients.

We’re happy to share that Jarvis’ surgery was successful and he recovered well from anesthesia.🐶💙

Testicular tumors are more commonly seen in older male dogs, especially those that are not neutered. Early detection and prompt veterinary care are important to ensure the best possible outcome.

In partnership with the Las Piñas City Veterinary Office, we are giving 100shots FREE Anti-Rabies Vaccination for healthy dogs and cats on March 11, 2026, from 9am to 1pm, 2pm to 5:45pm

This initiative aims to promote responsible pet ownership and help protect our pets and community from rabies.

📌 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓:
All pets will undergo a health assessment and history taking by the attending veterinarian prior to vaccination to ensure they are fit and healthy to receive the vaccine.

A Rabies-Free Future Starts with Me!

The City of Las Piñas, through the City Veterinary Services Office, is proud to announce its participation in the nationwide campaign: "A Rabies-Free Future Starts with Me." Launched by the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) during its 93rd Convention, this initiative is a unified effort to protect families and pets through sustained vaccination and responsible pet ownership. This movement directly supports the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) “Zero by 30” global program, which aims to eliminate human deaths from dog-mediated rabies by 2030.
