MJM Rescue Animal shelter

30/09/2026

A guest at Tiquiano's Beach Resort found this young pala-os (monitor lizard) and chose to turn it over to us instead of harming it. Thankfully, it reached MJM Rescue safely. 🦎💚

We decided to release it back into the wild—because not every animal we encounter needs to be captured, kept, or harmed. Sometimes, the best way to help is simply to let them live.

Wild animals have a place and purpose in nature. Protect them, respect them, and let them return home.🌿

A simple act of kindness can save a life.

MJM Rescue — Rescue. Protect. Release. Let wildlife stay wild.**
