Surgical removal of a peria**l tumor in a 6 year old intact male Siberian Husky.

Abnormal growth was not related to the a**l sac glands. Bleeding was apparent due to frequent irritation. Not responsive to antibiotics and antiinflammatory treatments.

This was a suspected case of adenoma. Biopsy was called for, pending owners' decisions. Patient has undergone surgical removal & castration.

Before she made it to her speaking engagement: Pyometra surgery in a cat.

The case was diagnosed a week prior as an open-type of pyometra. Cbc, ultrasound & xray were all conclusive of the case. No improvement was seen on oral antibiotics, thus, owners finally decided for surgery (treatment of choice)
