🌍🐾 Rabies may be deadly, but the good news is that it’s 100% preventable.

This World Rabies Day, let's use our voices to spread awareness and encourage responsible pet ownership. A simple act—like vaccinating your pets, reporting animal bites, or sharing accurate information—can make a real difference in protecting both animals and people.

As future veterinary professionals and animal advocates, we have the power to educate, inspire, and create positive change in our communities. Together, we can help build a future where no life is lost to rabies.

Every action matters. Every voice counts. Every life is worth protecting. 💉🐶🐱❤️

🌫️ HAZE ALERT | LET’S BREATHE SAFE TOGETHER 😷

As haze associated with fires in Kalimantan, Indonesia 🇮🇩 affects parts of the Philippines, we encourage everyone in affected areas to take precautions and stay informed about changing air-quality conditions.

😷 Wear a well-fitting mask when going outdoors
🏠 Limit prolonged outdoor exposure when haze is noticeable
🏃 Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during poor air quality
💧 Stay hydrated
📱 Keep updated through official air-quality and health advisories

🇮🇩 We also extend our thoughts and solidarity to the communities in Indonesia affected by the fires and haze. We hope for the safety and well-being of everyone affected.

🇵🇭 To everyone in the Philippines experiencing the effects of the haze—including our fellow students and the USM community—please take care and look out for one another.

Stay safe. Stay informed. Breathe safe. 🤍
