While bones are often given as treats, they can sometimes become lodged in the mouth or even cause injuries such as broken teeth, choking, or internal damage.

• Avoid giving small or brittle bones that can splinter easily

• If you notice signs like pawing at the mouth, drooling, or refusal to eat, seek veterinary care immediately

It was nice seing you again, Zilong!

Zi underwent urethrostomy sugery last november 2024

A urethrostomy in dogs is a surgical procedure where a new permanent opening is created in the urethra (the tube that carries urine out of the body). This allows urine to bypass a blocked or damaged portion of the urinary tract.

It was a long and difficult recovery, but he made it through. Now he’s doing well and just had his annual vaccinations. 🐾

Fur Friends Animal Clinic Joins the Nationwide Rabies Vaccination Drive on March 11, 2026!

In partnership with Bureau of Animal Industry, Philippine Veterinary Medical Association, and Office of the Provincial Veterinarian of Iloilo.

FREE Anti-Rabies Vaccination for the first 50 pets
🐾Pets must be atleast 3 months old and apparently healthy
🐾First come first serve basis or until supplies last
🐾Vaccination will be done during clinic hours

In celebration of Rabies Awareness Month lets all be responsible pet owners, for a rabies free community!
