🐱 WHAT IS TNR?
Trap • Neuter • Return ✂️

TNR is a humane way to help manage community cat populations. 💚

🪤 TRAP — Community cats are safely and humanely trapped and brought to a veterinarian.

✂️ NEUTER — The cat is spayed or neutered to prevent unwanted litters. When possible, they may also receive vaccination and other appropriate veterinary care.

🏡 RETURN — After recovery, the cat is returned to the same territory where they were found.

❤️ Why TNR?
Fewer unwanted litters means fewer homeless kittens and a more stable community cat population.

👂 See a cat with an ear tip?
A straight cut on the tip of the ear usually means the community cat has already been sterilized through TNR.

TNR isn’t about removing community cats. It’s about humanely managing their population while allowing them to remain in the community they know. 🐾
