A belgian mallinois brought to the clinic with the presenting signs of salivation, seizure and high body temperature.

Probable cause: Organophosphate poisoning
Organophosphate is a chemical used to kill insects. It is the main active component in almost all garden and agricultural pesticides and insectides.When contacted (ingestion,skin absorption, sprayed in to the eyes etc.), it interfers the normal communication of the nerves and impulses thus resulting to nervous signs.
