ALL PAWS ON DECK 🐾 FOR COMMUNITY PAWNTRY! [PAWS x MAGINHAWA COMMUNITY PANTRY]

Today, shelter dog Magda and PAWS volunteers headed to Maginhawa corner Magiting Streets in Quezon City to expand the reach of our humble Community Pawntry beyond the PAWS Shelter gate.

They brought pet food so that Community Pantry shelves would also have something for the furry family members of those who were hit hardest by the fuel price increase (PUV drivers).

Dog and cat food packs were distributed to 145 tricycle and jeepney drivers already passing through the Maginhawa Community Pantry at about 3:30pm today. [*More of the distribution photos in our next post]

Vegetables, eggs and various food items for humans were being taken at a faster rate and the PAWS team sadly noted that there were not enough of the human food donations for those who need them.

After distribution, PAWS left about 150 more packs of pet food on the shelves for our beleaguered PUV drivers who are fellow pet guardians and animal rescuers.

We wish everyone well during these tough times.

Sa mga nangangailangan pa at hindi nakakuha sa pawntry: pasensya na po kung konti lang ang aming naibigay. 🙏 We are all in this together and we will continue to share what little we have for as long as we can.
