DAY 2 | VISITING THE CATS 😸

Yesterday , April 29 2023 , The Fur Family went to Bantay Hayop Davao's Cat Home located @ Margarita Village, Bajada, Davao City. They welcomed us with a bright smile and the cats were so cute! We gave collars and certificate of appreciation for allowing us to be a partner of their organization. It was really a great experience of letting us visit their cat and dog shelter.

The Fur Fam are looking forward to continue helping the foundation with it's goal of taking good care of the animals. 😻

DAY 1 | VISITING THE DOGS🐶

Poor animal welfare practices, such as overcrowding, confinement, and lack of access to adequate food and water, can have negative impacts on animal health and productivity, leading to increased use of antibiotics and other medications, and ultimately, reduced efficiency in resource use.

Last April 15 , 2023 , the Friends FURever Family went to Bantay Hayop Davao to give some donations , food , and assess the dogs inside the shelter. It was a great experience where the students had additional knowledge about taking good care of the dogs , how the shelter started , and on how these dogs ended here in the shelter. We are amazed of the dedication and hardwork of Bantay Hayop Davao upon helping these animals who were not able to defend themselves.
