RAINY DAY REMINDER TO OUR DEAREST PET PARENTS 🐾🌧️
To our dearest clients and fellow pet lovers,
As the rainy weather continues, we hope that you and your families are staying safe, warm, and dry. And while we take extra precautions for ourselves during days like these, let us not forget that our beloved furbabies also need a little more care and attention. 💙🐶🐱
Rainy days can bring cooler temperatures, wet surroundings, muddy paws, and increased exposure to conditions that may affect our pets’ health. Please keep your furbabies indoors as much as possible, especially during heavy rains and thunderstorms. Make sure that their sleeping areas are clean, warm, and completely dry, and always provide them with fresh food and clean drinking water.
If your pets happen to get wet from the rain, dry their coat, paws, ears, and the spaces between their toes thoroughly. Prolonged dampness can cause discomfort and may contribute to skin and ear problems.
Please also be extra careful when allowing your pets outdoors. Avoid letting them walk or play in floodwater, stagnant water, or muddy areas. These may contain harmful bacteria, parasites, chemicals, and other contaminants that can put their health at risk.
Most importantly, keep a close eye on your furbabies. Watch for unusual changes such as loss of appetite, weakness, vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, sneezing, difficulty breathing, unusual discharge, skin irritation, or sudden changes in behavior. If something does not seem right, please do not wait for the condition to worsen before seeking veterinary attention.
And during thunderstorms, remember that some pets may become frightened or anxious because of the loud sounds. Give them a quiet and comfortable place where they can feel secure. Sometimes, your presence, gentle reassurance, and a little extra cuddle are exactly what they need. 🥰🐾
