Cats may seem independent and mysterious, but research suggests they have a strong memory when it comes to the humans who treat them well 🐱. Scientists studying feline cognition have found that cats can remember voices, faces, and routines associated with their owners. In experiments, many cats responded more strongly to the voice of their caregiver than to strangers, even when they couldn’t see the person. This indicates that cats store detailed memories of the humans they interact with regularly.
