Before, I don’t need to ask kung saan nakakabili ang owner ng Nexgard. Nowadays I have to verify kung saan sila nakakabili kasi madami ng FAKE online.
If you buy Nexgard somewhere else other than vet clinics, chances are, you maybe buying a fake product.
Napakahirap nila i-distinguish because they look very much the same. One owner has been giving the Nexgard on the left (opened box) but complained na kinakapitan pa din ng kuto yun dog (they bought it online).
If you look very closely, the genuine Nexgard on the right has a registration number on top of the drug name (VR-3596) and a box that contains the active ingredient of Nexgard (that is, Afolxolaner).
The fake one on the left does not have a registration number and lists the active ingredient of Nexgard (Afoxolaner) just below the trade name and NOT boxed.
Just be aware that not only Nexgard products are being faked nowadays. What happens if you buy a fake expensive Apoquel? Or a fake vitamin supplement?
Just to be absolutely sure, please buy na lang po sa mga vet clinics. We have heard of Apoquels that are chalky in in consistency when being halved. The real Apoquel is not chalky even when halved.
