JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Veterinary Assistant plays a vital role in supporting veterinarians and veterinary technicians
in the care and treatment of animals. This position is responsible for providing compassionate
animal care, assisting with clinical procedures, maintaining a clean and organized facility, and
ensuring excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:
 Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, treatments, and surgical
procedures.
 Safely restrain and handle animals to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
 Provide daily care to animals, including feeding, watering, exercising, and monitoring
health and behavior.
 Clean, sanitize, and prepare exam rooms, cages, kennels, and surgical areas.
