Pixel was brought to our clinic for a second opinion as she continued to battle a persistent fever, profound lethargy, and a complete loss of appetite. Because complex viral infections can be incredibly tricky to catch early, we performed an ultrasound and comprehensive bloodwork to find answers. These tests revealed abdominal fluid, confirming Feline Leukemia Virus and pointing directly to Feline Infectious Peritonitis. We immediately initiated a highly targeted Feline Infectious Peritonitis treatment, and after a month of care and a beautiful August 8 checkup, this sweet fighter is completely healthy and thriving at home!
