Ocean driftwood is wood washed onto beaches by tides, winds, and ocean currents. Smoothed and naturally stripped of bark, it features a weathered, rustic patina. It is widely utilized for home decorating, terrarium designs, and fish tank aquascaping.

Key Characteristics

Origin: Usually wood from storms or falling trees that end up in rivers and travel out to sea.

Texture: Smooth and eroded due to constant motion in water.

Durability: Typically harder and more seasoned than regular wood.

Aroma: Features a soothing, natural scent profile with earthy, musky, and salty notes.

Common ApplicationsAquascaping: Ideal for adding structural elements and natural hiding spots for fish or shrimp tanks.Crafting & Decor: Used to make rustic furniture, unique sculptures, garden trellises, and wall art.Terrarium/Vivarium: Provides excellent perching and hiding spots for reptiles and amphibians.
