Last night, our veterinary surgical team successfully performed a
cystotomy on a male Doberman for the surgical removal of a urinary bladder urolith.

The extracted urolith measured approximately 3 inches in length and weighed 0.05 kg (50 grams).

The patient is currently under postoperative monitoring and supportive care as part of his recovery.

A reminder to all fur parents: Urinary stones can become a serious health concern if left untreated. Watch for signs such as difficulty or straining to urinate, frequent urination, blood in the urine, painful urination, or inability to urinate. Early veterinary consultation and intervention are essential to help prevent complications.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the fur parents for entrusting their pet's surgical care to Fur Care Veterinary Clinic. Wishing our brave patient a smooth and uneventful recovery. 🤍🐶🐾

Together, we make a difference. 🐾❤️

Yesterday, Fur Care Veterinary Clinic was honored to participate in the CLS Turnover of Animal Food, Shelter Materials, Dewormers, and Anti-Rabies Vaccines for the Compawssionate Society Shelter of Stray Puspins and Aspins.
