Reminders for spay and neuter:

1) Pet(s) must be fasted atleast 8-12hrs before the procedure (last meal and water should be the night before the scheduled procedure).

2) Kindly wait for the CBC result for (Cat Spay and Dog Spay & Neuter) and sign the consent form

3) Your pet must be placed inside their corresponding crates or cages. NO CAGE OR CRATE, NO ACCEPTANCE.

Please be at the clinic on time 9am for pre-surgery test (CBC)

For pets that needs extra attention such as pets that are highly anxious and may bite or scratch, kindly message us on our page to assist you.

🚨 𝐏𝐘𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐑𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐁𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄-𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆. 𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐈𝐓. 🚨

Meet Maxine, an 11-year-old female dog who was brought to us because she was very tired, had no appetite, and had an enlarged abdomen.

After further testing, including blood tests and ultrasound, we found something serious: PYOMETRA, a severe infection of the uterus that causes it to fill with pus.

Maxine’s infection was already severe. During surgery, our team removed a nearly 1 KILOGRAM pus-filled uterus. 😱

Thankfully, Maxine made it through surgery and is now home, recovering well, and getting back to her normal self! ❤️

⚠️ Pyometra is an emergency. It can quickly become life-threatening if the infected uterus ruptures or the infection spreads throughout the body.

Watch out for signs such as:
• Loss of appetite
• Lethargy or weakness
• Increased thirst or urination
• Vomiting
• Swollen/enlarged abdomen
• Vaginal discharge — but remember, some dogs may have NO discharge at all

💡 Spaying is one of the best ways to prevent pyometra.

If your female dog is showing unusual symptoms, don’t wait for her condition to worsen. Have her checked by a veterinarian as soon as possible.
