Why do we shoot in nature?

In nature, there is no need to hurry. With dogs, the best shots are the ones that they give you.

In nature, we can bathe in terpenes. With dogs, they sniff and enjoy all the new sights and smells.

So why do we shoot in nature?

To bring out the true nature of our dogs.

Here's Nature doing it's magic on our friend, Precious. If only momentarily healing her hip dysplasia and ailments due to age so she can enjoy her . 💗

"𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒎𝒆 𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒔 3 𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒔!" This comes a surprise to some when they meet Buddy. I do forget about it sometimes. With his agility and wildness, he never reminds me that he is missing one leg. Every chance he gets, he runs like he's chasing the wind. He nudges me with a paw when he likes something just like any other dog.

He is a 3-legged-dog but to me he is whole. ✨💖

Buddy will be with me this weekend. Say hello. 🌿🐾

Spending a lot of time around people and their dogs, I notice the nuances of facial expressions and body language.

So, what makes your dog smile? It’s 𝐘𝐎𝐔.

Your dogs love being around you more than anything. They may love treats and toys, too, but they look forward to sharing that with you.

Let’s capture your dog smiling at you so you can look back at these keepsake memories and smile again.

Home ✨🐚

Solitude nourishes the soul.

To learn to be at home with one's own company is such a wonderful state of being and a gift to truly give to self.

My dogs are welcome in my solitude. When I share with them rhe places that are memorable to me, they cease to be just mere islands to visit. They become a 'sanctuary' where memories take refuge in safety.

📍 Malapascua Island is the first island I took in 2009. Setting foot with Stipe felt like coming full circle in this . It felt like home.

Introducing '𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒,' a collection of photos and stories taking you to some of our beautiful islands.

There is such a solitary nature in this creative pursuit of photography and yet I savor the time of ‘aloneness.’ I crave moments of solitude where I can soak the slowness of life and bask in the rejuvenation.

This was one of those moments.

The island was just starting to wake up, the fisher folks just arriving with the day’s first catch. I catch a glimpse of this dog following me and my dog, Stipe. His every step full of the promise of the new day.

He continued on and found his pack. To my surprise, he went back the other way and now, my dog and I were following him. We caught him at the end of the beach where he found a spot where we left him satiated in his Solitude.
